My wealth management career started in 2008, at the very beginning of the Global Financial Crisis. That timing wasn't easy, but it shaped everything about how I approach being an advisor. I watched people's retirement plans get shaken. I saw the fear, the uncertainty, and the real human cost of financial stress. And I learned early in my career that this job is deeply personal. Over the past 18 years, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of families invest wisely, retire with confidence, and make sound financial decisions. I've enjoyed every day of it. Before starting Arcadia, I served as an equity Partner at one of the largest RIAs in the country. By most measures, it was a great situation. But I found myself pulled in two directions. At home, I had two young children growing up faster than I could believe — and I was missing too much of it by always being in the office. I had also become genuinely critical of the assets-under-management fee model that dominates our industry. Charging a percentage of someone's portfolio — where revenue grows automatically as a client’s wealth grows, regardless of the work you do — never sat right with me. So I built something different. Arcadia Private Wealth exists to serve a select group of individuals and families as a flat-fee, fiduciary advisor. One transparent annual fee that is not based on the size of your portfolio. Just honest, comprehensive financial planning and wealth management. Our focus is on serving two specific client segments: those navigating life in retirement, and those who have nearly reached financial independence—often between ages 45 and 65—yet continue working because they still enjoy their careers. Typically, new clients coming to Arcadia have an investment portfolio between $2M and $20M, and are looking for a trusted, ongoing financial advisory relationship.
