About my services

I founded Plan For It Financial, an advice-only, flat-fee, fiduciary financial planning firm, on a simple belief: a goal without a plan is just a wish. The idea comes from the classic children’s book The Little Prince, and it still rings true today. My focus is on helping people think through their financial decisions in a clear, practical way—bringing clarity to complex questions, perspective to tradeoffs, and context for how those pieces fit together. That often means balancing two competing realities: living well today while making sure the future is still on track. Most of the people I work with are in the later stages of their careers or recently retired. This is often the point where the questions shift from how to build wealth to how to make it last. Retirement timing, income sourcing, Social Security, taxes, and market uncertainty all start to converge at once. Getting those choices right matters. Through education and guidance, I help clients move forward with greater confidence. Before starting Plan For It Financial, I spent more than 30 years in investment management and insurance, including over two decades working with large institutional investors—pension plans, endowments, and foundations. That experience continues to shape how I approach planning today—particularly in how I think about long-term outcomes, risk management, and building sustainable income. A financial plan isn’t an end point. It’s a starting point, serving as a framework that should evolve over time as life unfolds.

Client names are displayed as “John S.” to protect their privacy.

Client reviews will be verified by Fiduciary Check before publication.

The advisor will be asked to confirm if the client is a current or former client (the advisor will not see your review during this step).

Client disclosure responses regarding compensation and conflicts of interest will be visible with the review.

Advisors fairly compensate Fiduciary Check for providing an objective, third‑party review platform through their monthly subscription.

Fiduciary Check does not earn based on the number of reviews an advisor receives or by the outcome of the reviews; subscription fees remain the same regardless of review volume or review content.

If an advisor chooses not to maintain their membership, reviews will no longer be publicized on their profile, as only active members are eligible to display verified client feedback.

Advisors with reviews available to the public are committed to having reviews available for at least 1 year and cannot turn off public reviews unless a full year has elapsed or they do not maintain a membership with Fiduciary Check.

Advisors may not selectively choose which reviews are published under any circumstances. Advisors must show all reviews that have been verified by Fiduciary Check, or no reviews at all.
